Service, payment & cancellation information

Services are provided only after the firm accepts an engagement and the client agrees to a written proposal or engagement letter. Contacting the firm does not create a CPA-client relationship. Fees are quoted individually in U.S. dollars based on scope and complexity; no standard price or automatic subscription is offered on this page.

The proposal or engagement letter will specify deliverables, client responsibilities, expected timing, due dates, and payment terms. Timing depends on receiving complete records and required approvals. Filing deadlines and any extensions must be addressed directly with the firm.

TaxDome is the planned platform for proposals, e-signatures, document exchange, invoices, and secure payment. Payment methods and availability will be confirmed in the engagement materials. Do not send card or bank information by email.

Cancellations, refunds & billing questions

To request cancellation, contact curtis@hoekstracpa.com or (760) 532-1478 promptly. Fees for work already performed remain payable under the engagement terms. Any advance payment exceeding amounts earned and any agreed, nonrecoverable costs will be refunded. If you believe a charge is incorrect or are dissatisfied with the work, contact the firm so the matter can be reviewed. Refund eligibility, amount, and timing will be communicated after review, subject to applicable law and the engagement agreement.

Services are professional services delivered through agreed communications and electronic documents; no physical goods are shipped. This website provides general information, not advice for your specific tax or financial circumstances.
